
Some of Our Academic Achievements/Successes
Some of the school’s academic achievements and successes can be summarized below:
1.The school has consistently produced excellent results in WAEC and NECO SSCE since inception.

2. The School was classified the best University Secondary School in the country by WAEC in 1988.
3. Five of our students qualified for the National Merit Award, having scored A1 in 6 six subjects in 1988.
4. In 1991, the school was ranked 3rd among the best 30 Secondary Schools in Nigeria.
5. In 1993, the school produced the candidate with the highest JAMB score in the country i.e. Folajimi Obembe. He also got the 2nd best SSCE result in Nigeria with 8 A1 and 1 B3; and also, the best Science and Technology student.
6. In 1999, the school got the overall best aggregate result in WASSCE in Nigeria. The School was given the Augustus Bamidele Oyediran’s Trophy for this brilliant performance in November 2000 at an Award ceremony which took place in Jos, Plateau State, organized by WAEC.
7. In 2003 the School won the Longman Trophy Award for producing the best science result in WASSCE, English, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
8. In 2004, the school emerged the Lagos state champion for Peak Mum of the year competition.
9. In 2005, the school was the winner of the Lagos State JETS.
10. In 2008, one of our Students, Akinpelu Korede won the National Champions annual NNPC Science Quiz Competition held at Abuja, FCT.
11. In 2009, the School won the Science competition organized by the National Mathematics Center held in Abeokuta in April, 2009(1st position in Informatics).
12. In 2014, our student Omeire Boss had 9A1s in WASSCE.
13. In 2017, the Head Girl of the School, Immaculatta Edeseimi emerged the winner of the 8th Edition of the National Travel Essay Competition. She won N100,000 cash and in addition was sponsored to attend an International Conference which held in South Africa between 7 and 11 November, 2017, along with her mother.
14. In 2018, our student, Are Ifeoluwakolopin Favour had 9A1s in the 2018 WASSCE.
15. The School has produced so many First class graduates both within and outside the country. The latest First class graduate from University of Lagos (2019 convocation) and overall best graduating student, Ogbechi Daniel with C.G.P.A. of 4.96. He graduated from ISL in 2014.
16. In 2019, the school had 99.45% performance in WASSCE.
